Learn how to deepen your personal practice as well as safely teach pranayama in classes and private sessions.
In this workshop you will practice and deepen your study of the bandhas, vayus, pranayama and the subtle body. Workshop will include basic pranayama (Dirgha, Ujjayi, Nadi Shodhana, Sheetali, Kapalabhati) building to advanced (Kapalabhati variations, Anuloma Viloma, Bhramari, Bhastrika). The original intended use of the bandhas, as well as modern adaptations will be examined. You will gain knowledge in the safety and strength of the bandhas (especially uddiyana) and connect with a pathway into the deeper practices of yoga enhancing introversion, self exploration, endurance and clarity.
