Vermont Vedic Arts LLC (โ€œVVAโ€) maintains this website and other linked and related sites (collectively, the โ€œSiteโ€) for the use of its students, customers, and other users (collectively, โ€œUser/Usersโ€). By using the Site and engaging with VVA, you agree that you have read the Terms of Use, understand them, and agree to be bound by them.

Please read the terms carefully before using the Site. Any use of this website indicates acceptance of these Terms of Use and forms a binding agreement between you and VVA. If you do not agree to these terms, do not visit or use this Site. Any breach of these Terms of Use by you automatically terminates your authorized use of the Site.

1. Use of Site and Site Materials

VVA provides various materials, courses, classes, workshops, articles, videos, audio recordings, community discussion groups, news, and other information on this and related sites and in products and services offered through this Site (the โ€œMaterialsโ€).

Users may not modify the Materials at this Site in any way or reproduce, share or distribute them. Users may not sell, auction, loan, rent, give away, or otherwise distribute the Materials or their contents, to any other person or entity.

In some instances, VVA may explicitly indicate that one copy of a specific Material may become Downloadable Material; that specific Material may be downloaded provided that Users make no modifications to the Materials and Users retain all proprietary notices contained in the original Materials or any copies of the Materials. Downloadable Materials may not be modified, reproduced, shared, sold, auctioned, loaned, rented, given away of otherwise distributed. 

VVA reserves the right to decline or revoke your use of the Site and/or the Materials at any time and for any reason.

2. Trademark and Copyright

Vermont Yoga Arts LLC, and certain other brands, trademarks, and service marks are marks of VVA. The Materials on this Site are copyrighted, and any unauthorized use of any Materials on this Site may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws.

3. No Warranty

The Materials provided at this Site are provided โ€œas isโ€ without any warranties of any kind including warranties of merchantability, title, fitness for a particular purpose, security, accuracy, quality, availability, completeness, or non-infringement of intellectual property. The Materials at this Site may be out of date, may contain errors, mistakes, omissions, inaccuracies, and other issues, and VVA makes no commitment to update the Materials at this Site, or to maintain User access to the Site and Materials.

VVA may make changes to the Materials of this Site, or to the products, services, and prices described in them, at any time and for any reason without notice.

4. Limitation of Liability

In no event will VVA, its members, managers, owners, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, inspectors, suppliers, representatives, or other third parties mentioned at this Site be liable for any damages whatsoever arising out of the use, inability to use, or the results of the use of this Site, any websites linked to this Site, or the Materials or information contained at any or all such sites, whether based on warranty, contract, tort or any other legal theory and whether or not advised of the possibility of such damages. 5. Applicable Law

The Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Vermont, U.S.A. You agree to submit to jurisdiction in Vermont and that any claim arising out of or related to these Terms of Use will be brought solely in Bennington County, Vermont. You agree that any disputes under this Terms of Use will be submitted to confidential binding arbitration in Vermont, before a single arbitrator pursuant to the then-applicable rules of the American Arbitration Association.

Failure to enforce strict performance of the Terms of Use shall not be construed as a waiver of any provision or right. VVA may assign its rights and duties under the Terms of Use without notice to any party at any time.

Links to external websites are provided solely as a convenience to you. VVA has not reviewed these external websites, does not control, and is not responsible for any of these sites, their content, or their online security and data protection. If you decide to access any of the external websites linked to this Site, you do so entirely at your own risk.

7. Effective Date and Updates

VVA reserves the right to revise, update or terminate these Terms of Use, in whole or in part, at any time for any reason, without notice.

The Terms of Use are effective as of March 22, 2026. Please check for changes regularly. Changes to the Terms of Use are effectively immediately. Your use of this Site after such changes constitutes your agreement to such changes.

8. Personal Data

This website is hosted by Squarespace. Squarespace collects personal data when you visit this Site, including information about your browser, network and device, web pages you visited prior to coming to this website, and your IP address. Squarespace uses the data to run this website, and to protect and improve its platform and services. Squarespace analyzes the data in a de-personalized form.

9. Release, Waiver and User Responsibility

You agree to bear all risk related to your use of VVA, the Site and Materials. At all times when engaging VVA and/or this Site and/or Materials, User agrees to take total responsibility for your own health, safety and wellbeing. User assumes all risk of injury and damage and understands that VVA is not expected or able to provide medical and/or psychological care. All costs incurred for health services including illness and injury are your sole responsibility and are not the responsibility of VVA.

You hereby release VVA, its members, managers, owners, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, inspectors, suppliers, representatives, or other third parties from all claims, demands, and damages (actual and/or consequential) of every kind and nature, now and in the future, arising out of or connected to your use of VVA. You are waiving, releasing and discharging all claims, debts, liabilities, costs, expenses, and causes of action relating in any way to your participation.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless VVA from any and all claims or demands, including attorneyโ€™s fees, made by any third party to or arising from your use of VVA, in connection with the Site, and/or in connection with the Materials.

None of the products or services offered by VVA involve the practice of medicine or take the place of medical consultation. Always consult with your doctor before beginning any yoga, pranayama, meditation, breath-work, mindfulness or Ayurveda practice.

Every form of exercise carries some risk of injury. User understands and agrees that yoga, pranayama, meditation, breath-work, mindfulness and Ayurveda can transform one's relationship with their body, mind, and emotions. For any health concerns or conditions when using Materials, including but not limited to audio and video recordings on this Site, or when practicing on your own, if you experience any pain or discomfort, discontinue practice immediately and consult with your health care provider(s). 

Although yoga, pranayama, meditation, breath-work, mindful movement, and Ayurvedic diet, lifestyle, and self-care practices are generally considered to be safe for healthy people, always modify the practice to enhance your comfort and to protect your health and safety. If anything offered doesnโ€™t feel good for you, stop immediately and donโ€™t do it.

Do not use meditation, yoga, breath-work, pranayama, mindfulness or Ayurveda to replace conventional care or as a reason to postpone seeing a health care provider about a medical problem. Continue to work with licensed and certified medical professionals for all your medical needs, including mental health.

There have been reports that certain yoga practices, meditation, pranayama and breath-work could cause or worsen symptoms in people with certain psychiatric conditions like anxiety, panic attacks, trauma, and depression. People with existing or suspected mental health conditions or concerns should speak with their health care providers before starting any meditative or physical practice.

10. General

VVA reserves the right to decline or revoke your use of the Site and/or access to VVA at any time and for any reason, without notice.

These Terms of Use are the entire agreement between you and VVA relating to the subject matter of these Terms of Use.

If any term or provision of these Terms of Use is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of the Terms of Use will remain unaffected, and each provision will be valid and enforced to the fullest extent of the law.

The failure of VVA to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the Terms of Use will not constitute a waiver of such right or provision, or of any other right or provision.
