Double the pleasure of a summer weekend in the Berkshires with this rewarding Kripalu-Tanglewood experience. Join Kripalu’s Larissa Hall Carlson and the Boston Symphony Orchestra’s (BSO) Marc Mandel to explore the striking parallels between yoga and music, discovering not only what draws us to music, but also how music draws us into an ever-deepening awareness of ourselves and our relationship with others.
Program sessions incorporate mindful asana, breathwork, meditation, and guided listening to classical music featured in the weekend’s Saturday-night and Sunday-afternoon BSO concerts at Tanglewood (just across the road from Kripalu). Attendance at both BSO concerts, featuring ever-popular works of Brahms, Beethoven, Mozart, and Schubert, fill out the weekend.
Note Complimentary lawn tickets to Tanglewood will be provided for both BSO concerts.
No technical expertise or prior training in music is required, simply a love for classical music and yoga.
